Crafted from premium vineyards in Stellenbosch, Vergelegen’s Reserve Chardonnay is a benchmark example of South African Chardonnay. Barrel-fermented and expertly aged, it strikes a perfect balance between richness, freshness, and complexity, showcasing both the elegance of the varietal and the estate’s meticulous winemaking.

Appearance:
Brilliant pale gold with a subtle green hue, reflecting its freshness and aging potential.

Nose:
A beautifully layered bouquet of ripe citrus, white peach, and nectarine, intertwined with delicate floral notes. Subtle oak aging introduces nuances of toasted brioche, almond, and a hint of butterscotch, complemented by a flinty minerality.

Palate:
