Mazets Saint Victor Cotes du Rhone 750 ml

This wine complements almost any meal, even modern so called meat free options, but mainly red meat, white meat and fowl. This wine knows its place in a dinner party which is to compliment the food and not to dominate the fare. Personally I could wish for less Alcohol as I yearn for the day 12% becomes the ‘norm’ again - perhaps the new UK penal alcohol tax regime may encourage this - but in the meantime this wine is as fine an example of 14% wine that I have yet to find within the price bracket within which it falls. This is my personal recommendation based on taking the wine with a wide variety of culinary offerings.
