Klippenkop Pinot Noir 2017 750 ml
The word klippen is a geographical term for an outcrop of rock, whilst kop in Afrikaans translates as either a hillock or a head. The Klippenkop wines are produced by the Robertson winery. Due to such high demand for their wines the winery now operates 24/7. Demand that has frequently been justified by the praise of John Platter in his famous guide to South African wines.
A purple tint on the rim with delicious flavours of ripe strawberry and rich red cherry. Produced in an early-drinking style with a soft smooth finish. Enjoy now with roast beef, guinea fowl, roast chicken, stews, lamb, pizza and pasta.

"So great to be able to receive a regular delivery of good wine rather than the usual 12 bottle case sold by most 'wine clubs' "
- Terry Wharton Hood -
