Chartham Vineyards
Chartham Pinot Noir 750ml
Chartham Pinot Noir 750ml
Fresh, crisp pale red with notes of elderberry and red cherry.
Tasting Note
The Chartham Vineyard lies a mere three miles south of Canterbury on a south east facing slope looking over the Stour Valley. The vineyard also overlooks the South Eastern railway line which run between Ashford and Canterbury and the farm in which the vines are grown is called Burnt House Farm, which offers a tasting room and nursery vineyard in the shadow of an ancient barn and dovecote. It is a lovely place to visit, not only for the views, but also for a selection of lovely wine.
The flavours delivered are red cherry, red plum and a light five spice with gentle tannins and a bright finish.
Food Pairing
The style of wine makes it a refreshing aperitif, suit lightly spiced dishes or an ideal companion to charcuterie, especially meats like carpaccio, and creamy cheeses.

"So great to be able to receive a regular delivery of good wine rather than the usual 12 bottle case sold by most 'wine clubs' "
- Terry Wharton Hood -
