This old vine Chenin (vineyard planted in 1965) needs time in the glass to open up. Lots of ripe pear on the nose with lovely lemon lime acidity. Only 600 bottles produced so super scarce. Stock up if you can find it.
Old vines, classic style. Citrus, peach, apple tart, flowers and vanilla. Complex, pleasant texture, lovely finish.
Apricot, green apple on the nose, poached pear, citrus and a touch of oak. Pleasant yet slightly unmemorable
