Tasting Note

Intense fig and cape gooseberry nose, typical of South Africas cool southern coastal vineyards. Palate is very lively with green apple, fig, nectarine and freshly cut grass.

Food Pairing

Mild vinaigrette salads. Mild flacky fish with herbs.
Loves vegetables with parsley, basil, mint, fennel, dill, and/or chives. Goat's cheese, yogurt, and creme fraiche.

Winemaking

A special selection of grapes are destined for Bruce Jack whites from selected vineyards. More importantly, we receive them very early in the morning, while still cool. Grapes are crushed, juice drained and skins pressed. After the juice is settled, clear juice is used to ferment in an attempt to highlight the vineyard specific aromatics. Special tanks are given extended lees contact.

Really quite impressive

13% alcohol. Pale straw. Upfront grapefruit nose of some intensity. Powerful and ripe blackcurrant palate with high but not drenching acidity. Really quite impressive. Excellent value too.

An almost full-bodied, slightly sweet SB. Packed with ripe fig, green apples, and nectarine with a rich luscious palate. Touches of green grass and gooseberry . Easy to drink and luscious..😋🥂🇿🇦🤸‍♂️

A ton of freshly cut grass on the nose with a mouthful of green pepper and a lime finish. Very refreshing and a tangy finish that lingers for ages. Excellent value for money!
