Alvier Classic Carménère 750ml

Alvier wines are born at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Chile made from estate grown grapes which are hand harvested in the family vineyards. Located in the upper reaches of the Cachapoel Valley, the winery and vineyards lie in Rengo, a recognised Chilean terrior for the production of fine wine.

The grapes of this wine are usually harvested towards the end of March and beginning of April, at their optimum ripeness. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks. It has rich deep ruby-red colour with shades of violet and aromas of black ripe fruit, blackberries, cherries,with delicate vanilla notes from the oak. Its sprightly varietals character, medium body and pleasant aftertaste.

Food Pairing

Ideal to serve at 16-10 degrees with white meats, turkey, grilled fish and pasta.
