We have taken a lead from the French to describe our latest release, our little version of the Grande Classique. Petite Classique might be small in name yet surely will deliver big on pleasure as you share a bottle or enjoy simply solo. This Malbec/Merlot new world styled wine was lightly oaked with a soupçon of French barriques and is charmingly easy drinking - taste how we delight in making the ordinary, extraordinary.
This blend of Malbec and Merlot is beautifully silky with soft tannins and a long layered finish. Dark chocolate, blackcurrant, and almond flavours frame a smooth mouthfeel. The nose entices with vibrant berry and plum aromas. Johnnie Calitz (winemaker).
